Open Gyms & Summer League for Incoming Freshman Open Gyms
Open gyms are hosted by Sobrato coaches and open to all Sobrato players and incoming freshmen. Since the gym schedule varies in the spring, we use an app called GroupMe to communicate when these open gyms take place. Note: Per BVAL rules, there is no coaching during this time. See below to get connected via GroupMe.
Summer League & Practice
We will be playing in the Branham Summer League hosted at Branham High School. June 16th through June 30th.
- Monday 6/16, 3:30pm vs. Live Oak
- Wednesday 6/18, 4:00pm vs. Gilroy
- Monday 6/23, 4:00pm vs Los Gatos
- Wednesday 6/25, 4:00pm vs Santa Teresa
- Monday 6/30, 4:00pm vs Saratoga
Summer League Tryouts/Practices will begin Monday-Friday June 9th-13th. Time TBD (in the evening). We understand this may conflict with junior high graduations, which is why there are 5 days alloted for tryouts. We will likely only have 1 summer league team consisting of 12-15 players. However, all particpants will be able to be part of practices/skill development on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

How to Get Connected Via GroupMe
1. Download GroupMe from your Appstore
2. Create an account
3. Have the student-athlete text Coach Zorio at 408-621-7421 with the following info:
(a) first and last name
(b) mobile number
(c) your grade level at school for the upcoming year.
