Alexa Watanabe of Sobrato defeated Marie Lewis of Live Oak in the first round 6-3,4-6,6-1. the 2nd round was played Nov. 4, at Mt Pleasant High School. Alexa was defeated by Anastasia Glyantseva of Leland from the A division 6-0, 6-2. Alexa place 4th in the tournament. Ali Pecsok of Sobrato was defeated by Martha Santos of Piedmont Hills also from the A division 6-1, 6-0. Both Watanabe and Pecsok had a very good season and will be playing as seniors next year. Congratulation to both girls.
